Give an allowance. Keep the books clean.
Set an equipment budget per person or role, approve real product links instead of vague requests, and get an asset register that recalculates residual value every month — including what happens when someone leaves.
SSO, exports, and an API on the company plan.

Allowances by role
Different budgets for engineering, sales, and remote staff. Annual refresh, rollover, and caps per category.
Rules, not gatekeeping
Auto-approve under a threshold, require review above it, block categories you do not want.
Link-based requests
People request a specific product with a live price, so you approve a number, not an idea.
Team asset list
See every item per person and per team, with purchase date, warranty, and current value.
Monthly residual value
Choose the depreciation method per category and export book value for accounting.
Offboarding built in
Return, reassign, or let the employee keep the gear at residual value — with the paper trail.
Know what your equipment is worth, every month
Each asset gets a depreciation schedule from the day it is bought. Wishkit recalculates the book value monthly so you can plan refresh cycles, price a buy-back, or hand finance a number they trust.
- Straight-line, accelerated, or custom curves per category
- Buy-back price generated automatically on offboarding
- CSV and accounting exports, plus a read-only API

Example asset
- Item

- Straight-line, 48 months
- Residual value today
- €276
Let people keep their gear
Turn on the keep-on-leave option and employees can take their setup with them, either as a leaving gift or by paying the residual value. It is a small cost that says a lot, and it saves you the logistics of shipping a used chair back to an office.
- Choose per category: always, never, or manager decides
- Automatic buy-back price at residual value
- Signed record of who kept what, for audit
Questions from finance and people ops
Do you handle the purchasing?
Either way. Keep buying through your existing channels and record it in Wishkit, or let us place the order and receive one consolidated invoice.
How do allowances work with rollover?
Set an annual amount per role, decide whether unused budget rolls over, and cap the maximum carried balance.
Can we restrict what people buy?
Yes. Allow or block categories, set per-item limits, and require review above a threshold you choose.
What about existing equipment?
Import your current asset list by CSV and we backfill depreciation from each purchase date.
Is it secure?
SSO, role-based access, audit logs, EU data hosting, and no card data stored on our side.
